Big Hairy Monster

The outrageous frontman for Ran$om has teamed up with the oddball geniuses of Big Hairy Monster to provide Middle Ga. with a much needed kick in the nuts.....(or maybe that was just me).

Big Hairy Monster is a band of music afficionados who had gotten tired of the same old tunes being pandered around town. They started writing originals, and playing the covers that lesser bands were afraid to touch. This led to Big Hairy Monster being considered by many to be the "cream on top of the cream of the crop".

Then came the addition of LegenDerry Derry to the band as frontman. You may remember him from a band called Ran$om that rocked Middle Ga a few years ago.

Now the whole dynamic has shifted into high gear.

Perfectly performed covers AND memorable originals with one of the only REAL FRONTMEN in Middle Ga.  They believe crowd interaction is a big part of the show, so you should be ready for anything.

I feel there can be no debate: This band gives the most electrifying, over the top performance in Middle Ga.

JuBee and The Morning After

If the name sounds familiar to you, it should. They've received accolades from across the country, and have opened for HipHop superstar "Pitbull". They've been on radio and television, most recently appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel LIVE." And if you're wondering...Yes. They do live right here in Middle Ga.

Dwayne "Jubee" Webb previously ruled the Middle Ga undergound scene as 1/2 of the cross genre/HipHop based duo known as City Council. "Jubee" is one of those guys with humility and grace off stage, but once on stage, he commands attention and delivers his marching orders with fire and force. Danny Davis lays down amazingly smooth funk/jazz bass lines and Alex Scarborough pounds out the beat from the back of the stage- together giving the music the backbone needed to deliver "Jubee's" lyrical onslaught. Child prodigy, Alec Stanley with his funky rock/jazz guitar completes the quartet.   
These guys compliment each other the way more bands should. No egos running wild here. They are a cacophony of flavors in a harmonious stew. "(Four) great tastes, that taste great together", if you will.

Jason Taylor Hobbs

Singer-songwriter with a gift. Great voice, Great player. One of only a few real deal musicians in Middle Georgia!

Lately he's been hosting a few "Open Mic Nights" around the Middle Ga. area. He has a REAL PA system and his experience at running sound virtually insures that you will sound as good as you possibly can.
Jason has the wisdom and insight of many years in the music business, and a childlike excitement and wonder that comes with humility and a love of the craft. He's willing to share his well earned knowledge with anyone who feels they need it. He's one of the few musicians in Middle Ga. that I know I can trust to give me honest feedback; which is the gigging musicans' most valuable (albeit most elusive) resource.


He is a gifted player, a great singer, and all-round nice guy. His audience loves him because he genuinely loves them, and it shows in every song he plays.

Check him out any chance you get.

I had the pleasure recently, to catch him in a 'listening room' format which is very different from a bar gig. To fully understand what that is, read this.

  In a post regarding his performance in the Macon Music Listening Room, this summed it up....

"I was there and Ican only imagine how it must have been onstage-It's a lot more intimate than yelling "show us your tits" to a crowd of drunk,angry college chicks (at least the ones I have at my shows)...everybody in there was hanging on every word he said. I know it was nerve-racking as hell, but you couldn't tell by his performance. He did it with the personal attention he gives all his shows. But afterward, i could tell that he was awed and humbled by the experience. You did awesome Jason- I took alot from it"
